IMPORTANT:
According to TechRadium, a tech manufacturer of mass-notificaton systems, Twitter stole their idea!! The Texas company claims they have a patent for inveting the concept Twitter is based off of and is filing suit against the website for patent-infringement.
According to reports:
"TechRadium said its IRIS (Immediate Response Information System) technology allows a group administrator, or message author, to originate a single message to be delivered simultaneously via multiple communication gateways to members of a group of message subscribers, who can receive the messages via voice message, text message or email, according to TechCrunch."
Uh-oh! Not very good news for the Twitterverse.
Hopefully, Twitter will be able to afford to pay them off and keep the tweeting alive!
What I'm wondering, is why this 'TechRadium' didn't say something sooner, if Twitter was really a stolen idea?
